Each person will be given a 4.75" x 11" bamboo tray, 3.24"x4" bamboo soap dish, 4"x3" bamboo cup, resin, mica powders, and alcohol ink. Each person will have a cup tumbler to use, as well as the use of a shared air dryer. This class will require some patience, as we are going to allow the resin to set up a little before we begin our work- so please expect some waiting. Come join us for this cute mini beach scene project on Saturday, July 25th from 6-8pm. Each person will receive a 6"x12" wooden board, paint, sand, 3 good luck minis, a pack of miniature beach people figurines, seashells, an anything else that you want to add to your scene. First we will paint our projects and then the fun begins! This is a very simple class with the focus on being creative and having fun together. Come join us for this relaxing class paining a giant conch shell this Saturday, Sept 12th @ 6-8pm. Each person will receive a giant conch shell, primer, paint, and acrylic markers. You can "doodle" it anyway that you like...sunset scene, graffiti, symmetrical designs, etc. Use your imagination and possibly take a peak at Pinterest for some inspiration! Come join us for this this fun class creating two mini scenes on Friday, June 19th @ 6-8pm . These are great for gifts or bathroom décor! Each person will receive two 5"x7" wooden frames and an abundance of tumbled glass, fire glass, sand, seashells, as well as an assortment of small wooden laser cut- outs. You paint your cut-outs and then create whatever landscape that you would like! Your projects will need to cure overnight, but you may pick them up the next business day M-F 10-6pm. This class may or may not last two hours, but we are allocating 2 hours so that you can relax and have fun. Feel free to bring your favorite drink! Cost $75. Come join us for this interactive class learning about Flippers & Fins on Wednesday, Aug 5th @1-3pm! SeaGlass is excited and proud to host Cathy Holmes, owner of "Flippers, Fins, Forests & Fossils" for this unique experience. Cathy is a local Florida Master Naturalist, who has spent 21 years doing sea turtle nesting surveying and stranding work, and ten years rehabilitating wildlife. Cathy was also a Wildlife Responder and researcher during the BP oil spill. Her class "Flippers & Fins" will teach us all about sea life that have these features and how they utilize them within their environment. We will also learn about conservation and the challenges facing our ocean and its inhabitants today. There will be numerous displays, specimens, bones, and other cool stuff! Each person will receive a 17" round acacia board, a bamboo Florida board, 15oz of resin, paint, seashells, sand, and alcohol ink. We will walk you through the step-by-step process of creating this beautiful piece of artwork, although you have artistic freedom to make your piece as unique as you would like. Come join us for this fun Surfboard Resin Class on June 27th @ 6-8pm! Each person will receive a 23" x 7.5" bamboo surfboard, three small wooden turtles, sand, seashells, mica powder, and resin. First we will mix our resin to let it set up, and then we will paint our turtles. Next we will create our sandy beaches and then mix our resin with various shades of teal mica powders for the water. After pouring the resin onto our boards, we will then create waves using alcohol ink and air blowers. Feel free to bring your own drink-wine and beer okay! Cost $75. Come join us for this unique, fun class creating a beach terrarium this Saturday, July 11th at 6-8pm! Each person will receive a 6" glass terrarium that sits in a 20" rope so that you can hang it. We will mix our resin with sand to create our dry beach, while allowing space for our ocean. We will then add palm tress, seashells, glass, and anything else that you want for your scene. This is a fairly easy class that is supposed to be fun and imaginative! Bring a drink of your choice and have some fun! The projects will need to cure overnight in the shop, but they may be picked up the following business day. Everyone will also get a string of fairy lights to add to their terrarium. Cost $65. Come join us for this fun class painting the Pensacola Beach, or Navarre Beach sign with the Blue Angels on Saturday, June 13th @ 6-8pm. Each person will receive a 11"x14" wooden board that has a a printed outline of the sign and jets. We will first paint our projects and then embellish them with sand, glass, seashells, and anything else that you feel would make your project look amazing. Each person will receive a 12'X12 inch wooden game board, paint, eight 3D printed game pieces (4 sand dollars, 4 starfish) resin & alcohol ink. We will begin by painting our game board like an ocean, or whatever style that you would like, and then we will paint our starfish and sand dollars.
