Flippers & Fins Class. Price: Price not available. Description: Come join us for this interactive class learning about Flippers & Fins on Wednesday, Aug 5th @1-3pm! SeaGlass is excited and proud to host Cathy Holmes, owner of "Flippers, Fins, Forests & Fossils" for this unique experience. Cathy is a local Florida Master Naturalist, who has spent 21 years doing sea turtle nesting surveying and stranding work, and ten years rehabilitating wildlife. Cathy was also a Wildlife Responder and researcher during the BP oil spill. Her class "Flippers & Fins" will teach us all about sea life that have these features and how they utilize them within their environment. We will also learn about conservation and the challenges facing our ocean and its inhabitants today. There will be numerous displays, specimens, bones, and other cool stuff!
